Fractions for preschool children – easy and fun!        (ruler and pencil not included)

This hands-on activity introduces fractions to preschool children using a ruler, pencil, and fraction templates to guide them  .  They become familiar with the practical application of fractions while learning how to divide a whole pie into equal pieces.

Note:  Hands-on activities such as this one, build understanding of the basic concept of fractions—a whole cut down into equal pieces.
