Going Fishing for Infants and Young Toddlers
$4.00
Fishing for colored fish is loads of fun for very young children and at the same time, it develops color skills.
Use the inside of the folder as a mat—lay it down as if it were the water. Spread the fish out on the blue mat. Children use the hand-made Velcro pole to catch fish (Velcro on fish).
- Children place the caught fish on the matching colored mats.
Note: This activity gives older infants and toddlers practice using fine motor skills. It also allows them to become familiar with colors.
